Arrive at Guwahati (GAU) by flight from Bengaluru (BLR). After arrival, begin your scenic drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake (Barapani) for photography and relaxation. Upon reaching Shillong, visit Ward's Lake and Police Bazaar for an evening stroll and shopping. Check in to your hotel and stay overnight in Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra), famous for its breathtaking landscapes and waterfalls. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls (seasonal), Eco Park, Mawsami Caves. If time permits, enjoy the scenic viewpoints before returning to Shillong for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to Dawki to experience a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River (seasonal water clarity). Visit the Indo-Bangladesh Border and then continue to Mawlynnong, known as one of Asia's cleanest villages. Explore the Living Root Bridge, Balancing Rock, and the village surroundings. Return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Mawsynram, one of the wettest places on Earth, surrounded by lush green hills and breathtaking scenery. Visit the Mawjymbuin Cave, known for its naturally formed Shiva Lingam-shaped stalagmite, and enjoy the panoramic viewpoints and tranquil landscapes of the region. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit any remaining attractions in Shillong, such as Laitlum Canyons, Shillong Peak, or enjoy some last-minute shopping at Police Bazaar, depending on your flight schedule.
